History lover Ever get the feeling you were born to late? Technically I was. Well, my mom keeps lamenting that I was born two weeks late causing her to go into false labor no less than three times. After all these decades you'd think she got over it. Anyway, I love history! It was my favorite subject in school, not the one I excelled in, unfortunately I can't ramble off dates and names at the drop of the hat--I need my notes. I often fantasize that I would have done well as a southern lady writer before the Civil War or even as a palace scribe in Pre-Matthew C. Perry era Japan. Yes, mid 18th to late 19th century history is certainly my most favored.
