Man of curiosity looking for smart match I am going to be direct on the situation: I value history in how it elaborates the concepts governing our world, but my use of history tends to be more of a social scientist looking for truths about modern realities, not of a historian looking for historical truths. So, when it comes to history, I tend more towards overviews for political, legal, and economic ends, along with the history of ideas, which I value for it's own sake.

However, that being said I am looking for somebody smart who I can discuss ideas with. History helps to understand. History is valuable. Also, the future is valuable, and I'd ideally find somebody who is willing to be with me for the long-term for the building of a future.

As a person, I am direct, prudent, goal-oriented, deeply intellectual man with a twisted sense of humor.

Also, to be direct: I am an atheist. I think that the natural history of the human race matters and that it tells us that we evolved from other life forms. I think this natural history is interesting, and that it tells us something about how our world works.
